THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

We may choose to use services of an automated process to check and verify your identity as part of the compulsory anti-money laundering process. This would involve you uploading a digital photographic image of your face with it being processed via an automated verification tool using biometric facial data along with scanned proof of address and proof of identity (where required).  You may opt out of this process and want manual checks undertaken. What we do not collect – We collect information necessary to provide our services. As such we do not collect information concerning ethnicity, race, political, work or trade affiliations, religious beliefs, health, sexual orientation, criminal convictions and offences. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

If you fail to provide personal data we need to collect as laid down by law or under the terms of a contract we have with you, which we have asked you to provide, we will not be able to provide the services and under any contract we have with you and will cancel the supply of services you have with us.  We will notify you of this and give you time to rectify the problem.  If no rectification occurs within a reasonable time frame our relationship with you will end.  You are at a later date able to come back to us and seek our services on the strict proviso that you must provide the personal data as requested.

As part of our AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks we may access information in the public domain such as information available on the Electoral Register, Land Registry, Companies House and any other publicly available information.
